Hi,
Trying to figure out if this is a foot or boot issue. I’ve never worn hiking boots and not gotten heel blisters. They usually set in around the 3 hour mark if there’s enough elevation (seem to be with going uphill).
I’ve worn various brands and models. Most recently La Sportiva. Some I get it right away and have returned. If I go down in 1/2 a size, the toes are too short for when I go downhill.
Tape works and is my go to. I’m planning on trying sock liners. I’ve tried tying them in different ways. Anyone else in a similar boat?
The trek I’m planning has a high likelihood of snow, so no trail runners.
